A basic guide to the story and the characters
Characters
Eastern country
Faust
Faust is a maledictor from Eastern Country. In the magic manor, he’s also in charge of being the teacher for the other Eastern wizards. Gloomy and serious, he’s very distrustful of everyone, but mostly of humans. Rather, he has a soft spot for cats, even though he denies it. He had been living alone before being summoned as a Sage’s wizard, so he’s not used to interacting with other people and usually shuts himself up in his room. However, he’s very skilled in magic and his strong sense of self and ability to step out and act like a leader makes you question if he was always that alone... Maybe it wasn't the case?

Heathcliff
The sage's wizard and the son of the noble Blanchett family is what Heathcliff is to the Eastern Country. However, according to Akira and 20 other sage's wizards, it is simply another facet to who Heathcliff is. Unlike fellow Eastern wizard and childhood friend, Shino, Heathcliff is shy and is lacking in confidence, yet carries himself with a sophisticated maturity, utilising his own strengths for the sake of others. Heathcliff often finds himself tinkering with even the most meticulous and complex trinkets, but seems that even magic can't mend the things he holds most dear to him...

Shino
Shino is a wizard from the East. He's a fearless energetic young wizard, and aims to become a Hero to bring honor to the Blanchett family. He wishes to share his glory along with his best friend Heathcliff. Heathcliff's parents took Shino in as a child after discorvering that their son was a wizard. Ever since, he's been grateful towards them for adopting him and has sworn to always honor them. Shino is extremely confident in contrast of Heathcliff. He pushes Heathcliff into bing bolder as he believes in his abilities, but doesn't plan to go easy on him either!

Nero
Nero, a quiet and reticent wizard, excels in cooking and does so for the rest of the wizards in the manor. His reserved and seemingly apathetic demeanor hides his kind and compassionate nature. While his words might be blunt, his actions are gentle and kind, offering a helping hand to anyone in trouble. However, he is less mindful of rules and doesn't shy away from breaking them in order to achieve his goals. This tendency coupled with his secretiveness about his past and his relationship to a certain Northern wizard leads to one question: what kind of past is he attempting to hide?
